Star Wars Andor Series Hires The Crown And Billions Directors

Following in the footsteps of The Mandalorian is a Brand New Star Wars series titled Andor, starring Diego Luna as the titular rebel. The series, which will be among the many Star Wars projects now in development for Disney Plus, has named its team of directors to take the reins of this Rogue One prequel.

In accordance with Discussing Film, Ben Caron and Susanna White have been hired to lead a number of those Andor episodes. Both possess a wealth of directorial experience under their belts, with Caron famous for his work at The Crown, Skins, and Sherlock, and White for her job at Nanny McPhee Returns, Masters of Sex, Billions, along with HBO’s Generation Kill.

The hiring of this set comes as Disney Plus continues to concentrate its efforts on expanding the Star Wars world, together with Andor nearly ready to begin manufacturing (massive collections with green displays have been seen in the middle of building within the UK). Combining them is Tony Gilroy, the Rogue One co-writer who made the sequence. The highly-anticipated Rogue One spin-off will accompany Luna’s Cassian Andor at a 12-episode, “nail-biting spy-thriller” epic.

Few details about The plot have been shown as of yet, however, we do understand that Luna is going to be followed onscreen by Stellan Skarsgard, Adria Arjona, Fiona Shaw, Denise Gough, Kyle Soller, and Genevieve O’Reilly, who will reprise her role as Alliance creator Mon Mothma. The narrative will accompany Andor’s lifetime before Rogue One, at which he finally died embracing Jyn Erso while the Death Star’s laser fired upon afterward on Earth Scarif.

Possibly one of the pressing questions Star Wars buffs have is whether Andor will consist of K-2SO, the reprogrammed Imperial droid who worked together with Jyn and Cassian at Rogue One. After K-2SO actor Alan Tudyk was asked if he knew if he’d be contained in the upcoming series, he stated that the narrative Gilroy was penning didn’t consist of K-2SO which he was certainly”not likely to be in the very first year.”

But, There’s still an Opportunity K-2SO is going to be composed for extended periods, so fans will simply need to wait and watch. Besides Andor, Disney Plus can also be working on The Acolyte, The Novel of Boba Fett, along with also an Ahsoka Tano solo job.
