This isn’t the first time that Intel has done something like this. Back when Coffee Lake launched, Intel sent bags of coffee to select members of the media at a promotional campaign for its 8th Gen processors. It seems Intel is doing the same for Tiger Lake.
The marketing kit comprises a blue planter and a bag with two oranges Lily seeds ready to be planted. This is the only media kit shown off, but these kits may be sent to reviewers in the coming weeks.
Tiger Lake is rumored to be Intel’s first CPU architecture Xe images and the Willow Cove heart design. Additionally, rumors imply that Tiger Lake will use the procedure node that is 10nm, so this might be the beginning of the end for Intel’s 14nm procedure node, and the company has been using for the last five decades.
Tiger Lake is expected to launch this summer, and, based on some ancient leaked benchmarks, it might rival AMD mobile processors.
