This isn’t the first time that Intel has done something like this. Back when Coffee Lake launched, Intel sent bags of coffee to select members of the media at a promotional campaign for its 8th Gen processors. It seems Intel is doing the same for Tiger Lake.
The marketing kit comprises a blue planter and a bag with two oranges Lily seeds ready to be planted. This is the only media kit to have been shown off, but it is possible these kits will be sent to reviewers at the coming weeks.
Tiger Lake is rumoured to be Intel’s first CPU architecture Xe images as well as the Willow Cove heart design. Additionally, rumours imply that Tiger Lake will use the procedure node that is 10nm, so this might be the beginning of the end for Intel’s 14nm procedure node, and the company has been using for the last five decades.
Tiger Lake is expected to launch this summer and, based on some ancient leaked benchmarks, it might rival AMD mobile processors.
